A DOG’S LIFE PORTRAIT SESSIONS

 

Do you wake up every morning with a
paw on your chest or a wet nose nudging your hand?

Do you spend more time shopping for the best food, toys, treats, collars, clothes and beds for your dog than you do for your own basic necessities?

Do you sit down on the couch to relax and almost immediately you have a dog chewing a bone on one side of you, another in your lap and one more on the back of the couch resting a chin on your shoulder?

Do you embrace the fact that all your clothes will be forever covered in dog hair no matter what you do?

Dogs are members of our family with adorable antics and routines of their own. Their daily lives are less complicated and intricate than ours, but no less important or memorable.

A day in the life of my dog, Bear is filled with plenty of naps, toys strewn around
the living room, back scratches, barking at dogs on TV, protecting the house
from the mailman, and finding new ways to look cute so I’ll give him more treats.

Dogs bring us joy and give unconditional love. And they won’t be with us as long as we'd like. So just like your human family, you want to have beautiful images of them you can look at and cherish every day, right?

A Dog’s Life sessions are very relaxed and fun as I hang out with you and your dog(s) documenting some of the highlights of your typical day together. We can schedule the session around a certain time of day that is best for capturing some of their favorite past-times like walks, playing with toys, swimming, naps and cuddle time, special chew bones or treats, running in the yard, drinking from the hose or sprinkler and more!

The majority of the session will be natural, candid, and authentic images, but I will also take a little time to get a couple posed portraits including one with their human family. Then I will create a story of their day, with as many of the images I can, into a 10x10 signature story book.

A Dog’s Life sessions are great for dogs of any age, but they can be especially fun for NEW PUPPIES who love to explore and are learning about everything in their world for the first time. Who are full of energy one moment and passed out looking so adorable the next!

If you are working with a dog breeder or adopting through a rescue, contact me and we can add on a separate, short photo shoot to your Dog’s Life session I like to call, a New Bundle of Fur session. I can meet you at the breeder’s (depending on location) or the rescue and document you picking them up, or the car ride home, or their introduction to their new home and family.

I also love to travel and am available to book commissions in other cities and states!

**Dog’s Life sessions, while they will include some photos of you and your family with/around your dog(s), it is much more focused on your dog(s) and not you/your family. If you’d like to document and celebrate your family’s life and just include your dog/pets in some of the photos you’ll want to book a Day in the Life session instead.

Package A - $995:

  • A two hour (approx.) session in and around your home

  • USB drive of the final edited digital image (jpg) files from the session

  • 10x10 Signature Story Book

  • Set of five 8x10 or 5x7 prints

  • $75 credit toward an album upgrade, a selection of fine art wall displays or additional prints.

The fee is all-inclusive of the 2 hour session, image post-processing and
editing, USB drive of the final edited digital image (jpg) files, 10x10
Signature Story Book and design, prints, credit and either an
in-person image viewing/ordering appointment OR a 2 week online
proof gallery when the images are ready after your session.

Package B - $695:

  • An hour and a half (approx.) session in and around your home

  • 10x10 Signature Story Book

  • Set of five 8x10 or 5x7 prints

  • $50 credit toward an album upgrade, a selection of fine art wall
    displays or additional prints.

The fee is all-inclusive of the 1½ hour session, image post-processing and editing, 10x10 Signature Story Book and design, prints, credit and an
in-person image viewing/ordering appointment OR a 2 week online
proof gallery when the images are ready after your session.

**Dog's Life sessions are for families with up to 3 dogs. If you have more than 3 dogs, especially with additional pets (I love to photograph kitty siblings too!),
in order to make sure I have plenty of time to capture the lives of all your furry family members, let me know the details of your pets and I can customize an
additional fee for extra time needed.

PLEASE NOTE:

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, during all sessions I will be taking safety precautions including wearing a mask, hand sanitizing and staying a distance apart.

I will be photographing mostly outdoors whenever possible with a short amount of time spent photographing your doggie(s) inside - any persons inside at that time will also need to wear a mask and keep a distance. Thanks!
